You'll need to get a tier 6 inferium seed the hard way, start with tier 1 and plant/collect through the tiers until you make a 6. From there you cab make a bunch of mystical fertilizer to quick grow it to get a jump start on seeds. Then it's an easy process of harvesting and planting until the whole thing is planted with tier 6 seeds.Make sure the water block is at or one up from the tilled dirt block to properly hydrate it. Also, if you're doing dirt farming for inferium use fertilized dirt instead for a bonus to growth, as well as (I believe) being less prone to becoming untilled. The seed catches but is does not produce an inferium seed, it honestly looks just like grass. When broken it only drops the crop sticks left behind.
