They were a little pitted so I filed them down to take the pitting out. Regapped them a little under .020". Was able to get a little spark when touching a screwdriver across the points. Tried a new spark plug but still no spark. My 318 was running fine until I shut it off the other day and then when I tried to start it again, no spark to plugs. What happened? I checked the coil and it seems to have good resistance. Are there points on this Onan "P" series or is it electronic? (1988, 318 model). Wires also look fine, any suggestions on trouble shooting.
