I have never owned a RR, but the general consensus seems to be they are good guns for the money. They are really inexpensive and seem to function fine ...Not aftermarket. Ordered right from their website. It's their .22lr engraved cylinder. This problem also occurs on the normal 22lr cylinders too. I recently purchased a 9 shot Rough Rider. It has the same issue. I'd imagine a decent gun smith could do some grinding work on the cylinder to get it to function properly.
