The car kicked off of cruise control and the dash board of my car the RPM's went to 0 and the heat sensor shut off. The check engine light came on and the green light next to "D" was flashing. It did this a couple times while on the road.

I'd start with the basics. Check the brake fluid level (which Honda should have checked). Check all the fuses related to those systems. Have the battery load tested (which Honda should have done). GuruSN14Y answered 4 years ago. Just solved this issue on a 2007 Pilot - D3 and D light on and blinking - engine light on - (would not shift into 4th) - mechanic changed out the transmission range sensor located near the fill tube. Issue solved. Code had come back as P0700 and P 0705.
