Re: Algae/seaweed/slugs. We have been coming to Destin for over 25 years and have NEVER seen it this bad. The shoreline is coated with sea weed and the water is black and thick, you would not want to get in the water. A few brave soles did swim through the muck to get to some moderately clear areas off shore.
