Jeep jk running hot.

A couple of weeks ago the electric radiator fan came on during a 2 hour drive and was very loud. After that day, that fan now comes on at full speed whenever driving more than about 10 miles on the highway. At full speed, its loud! I took it into the dealer and they replaced the TIPM computer and said it was fixed.This is my first Jeep Wrangler. It is a 2016 JKU with the 3.6, about 62K on the Odometer and was pretty much stock when I bought it back in October. On my first trip of any distance, I got a check engine light and a P0128 for Low coolant temperature. Looked at the gauge and it seemed ok to be driving with low a low coolant temperature ...2017 Jeep Wrangler overheating. Engine gets extremely hot, radiator shows no signs of circulation changed out thermostat and still have same problem. Tried burping air out, engine still gets extremely hot and radiation/coolant inside isn’t hot and no signs of circulation. Water pump/clogged radiator?2013 jk running hot above 3000 rpm. I can’t find any leaks in the system. I did try bleeding it today and no luck. Coolant is full an so is the reservoir is just below max. Never had any issues till I was towing the jet skis back from havasu a few weeks ago. Got to 3/4 on temp gauge. And now it likes to go above to 3/4 when I’m not babying it.

Aug 26, 2021 · yeah, the middle is a bit high for the 3.6L especially if you are driving. But like you, normal temps for my 3.6 is just slightly above the 1/4 line. The only time when I see the temp gauge move is up to slightly below the 1/2 mark, and that us when im driving in a parking lot for like 20 minutes at low speed. If, as you said, it was only the drivers side, then replacing the core didn't do a thing and the issue will likely return. There is one heater core.
