Dec 25, 2016. #2. From a bit of reading online, Briggs 900 series and gx200 both cost $300+, predator is obviosly $100. Predator has cast shaft, while the gx200 has a forged crank. Gx200 has 9 ft/lb torque, but only 5.5 hp. Predator has 8 ft/lb, but 6.5 hp. Basically a Honda or a Briggs will last longer at sustained high RPMs.
