Story Mode - All Saddles and Stirrup Stats (Including Trappers) tl;dr - The Improved Gerden Trail Saddle with Hooded Stirrups appear to have better stats than the best Trapper saddles, the Panther Trail Saddle or Beaver Roping Saddle since the latter can't be customized with a stable stirrup.
Issue. It took me about 5 hours to get a 3 star Black Bear pelt, and another 2 to get a perfect Grizzly pelt. Shit bears just spawning all over. In real life the saddle horn is used to dally your rope. Basically to loosely tie your rope to after you’ve roped something. Cows for example are immensely strong and a human on horse is no match. However tying off to the saddle horns means now the horse is pulling the cow. In Red Dead the saddle horns serve no purpose though.
