There's CR1000A and CR1000B. They're basically the same but manufactured by 2 different companies. The A is the one that keeps dropping 2.4GhZ network. I tried to find a B, but none of the local Verizon places have one for me. It is designed to connect to the CME1000 Wi-Fi Extender Mini using the 6 GHz band. The E3200s are used because the CME1000s have an inventory shortage right now.

How far the wifi reaches is entirely dependent on the construction and layout of your house. The more physical objects in the way, the less distance the wifi will travel. Wifi6e signals will attenuate much quicker than wifi 2.4Ghz signals. There will be improvement but won't be a drastic difference in coverage between the G1100 and CR1000a.
