The only problem I found was in the southern Calif. winters the engine would have a hard time coming up to operating temp. Ran about 190/200 and on 10/40 it runs 210/ 220*.Just changing the oil is pretty straight forward. Pull the front wheel. Loosen the top fork plugs. Loosen the triple clamp bolts. Pull the fork legs out (one at the time). Mark them left and right. Pull the top fork plugs off. Drain the oil.
