I personally feel for all around use, the bravo is the way to go. I like the xray grip better as it gives more control when moving with the weapon. However the ergos of the buttstock/comb are definitely more tactical/prs oriented. If you already shoot with a chassis a lot, it may not feel much different.

I have run my MTR in both the KRG Bravo and MDT XRS. For bench work I prefer the MDT. Both have adjustable combs but the MDT starts in a lower position. If you look at pictures of the KRG you'll see a cutout for bolt removal. MDT doesn't need this because of the lower comb. For me this means less cheek on the stock which is good from the bench.I have the lss and the lss-xl both on howa long actions The 3.715 mags are fine for the 270 but not for something with big bullets. Dec 27, 2023 · Dec 27, 2023. #10. The Bravo is an inexpensive functional what I call a chassis/stock. KRG practically invented this sub-$400 class of functional chassis/stock and the shooting public has embraced the Bravo to the point that MDT and XLR and even McMillan have inserted products into this niche. I bought a heavy barreled Howa 1500 in 308, then stripped it down and tested out the KRG Bravo chassis in order to get her competition ready. I go over all ...

Jul 30, 2019 · A year ago I really wanted the Lss but it was about $850 here so I was convinced that I should rather get the Krg Bravo. At this moment I can't comment on whether I prefer a stock or a chassis but I do prefer the look of the chassis. I'm torn on this as there's not a lot of Bravo's here so I can't get real world comparisons from anyone here. Adderall XR (Oral) received an overall rating of 9 out of 10 stars from 19 reviews. I’m paying Canadian, so the KRG costs about $600 and the Cadex about $650. I haven’t heard a lot about the Cadex but I’m assuming it’s of higher quality/QC. Let me know which you think is the better option. A KRG Bravo would be another good option IMHO. Since you mention MDT and XLR, I'm assuming cost is a consideration, so don't really want to compare it to other, more expensive options. With the field stock I can actually mount a bipod on the front sling swivel stud and fit the rifle on a full-size OG game changer back between the bipod and the mag which I can't do on a KRG bravo. I mounted an Arca rail from a KRG bravo to the bottom of the stock and you can see how much longer the forfend is than the rail as a comparison.

The stock is really nice and the accuracy is outstanding. I have two Bergara B14 HMR Wilderness Rifles in 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC . The factory stocks are nice but I have to give the nod to the KRG Bravo if I had to choose between the two stocks. The Bravo stock just fits me a little better. I like the angle of the grip.

With the cheek rest down, a bore guide and cleaning rod clears easily. That's one of the reasons I like the XRS. They are both excellent stocks, very well made and use good magazines. Given MDT's rapidly growing reputation for good design, excellent manufacturing and good value, its magazines may eventually challenge the current AICS 'standard' role in this market.
